Restaurant with Parisian Chic Decorating

Tom Dixon and his  Design – research studio are world famous for their innovative design and art work with copper and do not fail to amaze us once again with their new eclectic restaurant situated in the Beaugrenelle center of 15th district in Paris. This project is appointed to them by Fabienne and Philippe Amazalak and the flagship interior of the restaurant offers a unique fusion between Parisian chic and British eccentricity with a hint of a free-form tribute to 1970′s architecture.

With designer’s clever contemporary twist, the space propounds new take on the traditional brasserie format and brings us to much more profound and snug experience with its oval alcoves and colored leather bench seats. Throughout the restaurant, sculptural bespoke chairs and tables furnish the space offering different siting points – in a privet lounge, in more open and social areas or overlooking the Seine River, but all with their one unique designer’s detail introduced to strengthen the fusion of modern and classic.

Let it be light! Warm golden beams of light reflecting at the hexagonal relief pattern of the walls give the amazing sensation of entering honey bee hive. It is everywhere- controlled lighting that reflects and amplifies exotic surfaces, secret angles and copper bathroom sinks. Sculptures of light, designer’s lamps of copper, skillfully reflected light – no doubt this fairy of golden beams is central to Tom Dixon’s designer scheme.
